About Addiction Healing Coach
Brian Sellers understands the hurt and shame that anxiety,
depression, addictions and other mental health disorders can have on
individuals and their families. Having experienced anxiety
himself, Brian understands the struggles individuals face with the
condition of anxiety. Brian currently uses his experience with anxiety
to help others who suffer from the condition. In addition Brian has
experience as a mental health therapist at a local psychiatric hospital.
Brian gained invaluable experience counseling adolescents, many of whom
had multiple problems including pornography addiction, depression,
anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction as well as other psychiatric
disorders. Brian has also counseled adolescents and their families
participating in Desoto county adolescent drug court, and he has
facilitated therapeutic groups focusing on addiction. Brian
recognizes and values the support system which many people suffering
from addiction need in order to heal.
Brian is certified to give the Substance Abuse Subtle Screening Inventory to access for the severity of chemical addictions. He received his Masters of Education in Community Agency Counseling from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL. Brian is a National Board Certified Counselor. In addition to his professional counseling experience, Brian also has experience as a pharmaceutical sales representative. That experience allows him to see and gain an understanding of the pharmacology of chemical addiction as well.
On a personal level, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is also an active member of Longview Heights Church.

Mr. Scott is the owner and founder of Turning Point Counseling. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Certified Clinical Addictions Professional (CCAP), an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC) as well as a licensed minister.
